BDTickets offers a discount of up to 200 taka for maximum security
BDTickets, the country's largest online ticketing platform, is offering customers a discount of up to Tk 200 in addition to ensuring maximum security in Covid 19 situations. Customers will be able to purchase bus, plane and launch tickets with a single line ticketing facility from the platform following a government-announced seating gap.
For the first time in Bangladesh, BDTickets is offering 'Covid Travel Insurance' in case any traveler is infected with the Covid-19 virus. Under this insurance, the person affected by Kovid-19 will be able to enjoy insurance coverage of taka 5,000. The term of the insurance facility will be valid for seven days from the date specified on the bus, launch or flight ticket. Apart from this, BDTickets customers can enjoy travel insurance up to Tk 1 lakh by paying a premium of Tk 10 per ticket.
BDTickets for air travelers include tickets for all domestic routes including Chittagong, Rajshahi, Jessore, Barisal, Sylhet, Syedpur and Cox's Bazar. Customers will be able to enjoy a discount of Taka 200 for each flight ticket using the 'AR200' code. This offer is valid till June 10.
On the other hand, the online ticketing platform is giving a discount of taka 100 for every bus ticket for travel to all the districts of the country. Customers can enjoy this discount by using the code 'RES100'. Currently, more than 50 bus operators are offering ticketing services through BDTickets. As a result, the platform has become the largest ticket source for routes like Dhaka-Chittagong, Dhaka-Rajshahi, Dhaka-Khulna, Dhaka-Barisal. The platform also has launch tickets for major shipping routes including Dhaka-Barisal, Dhaka-Barguna, Cox's Bazar-St. Martin-Cox's Bazar.
As a responsible platform, BDTickets is currently offering travel insurance for customers up to one lakh taka.
